معجزات نبوی صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم کو قرآن کریم تک محدود کرنے کا فکری نظریہ: ممکنہ دلائل اور اہل سنت کا فکری منہج
Abstract
Miracles are divine powers that strengthen the faith and silence the doubters.
The conviction of the prophethood of Muhammad (PBUH) is not dependent on
his miracles, but their occurrence is divine proof and support of it. Their
performance is required to approach human psychology. These miracles are
titled "verses" in the Qur’anic language. The Holy God performed miracles at
the hands of His Prophets, from Adam, Jesus to Muhammad (PBUH), in order
to further strengthen the argument of Prophethood. The Holy Quran is the
greatest miracle and certain enough as a miracle on its own, but it does not
negate other miraculous signs. The Quran made some miracles eternal by
etching them in the minds of the believers. The Sunni school of thought believes
that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was granted countless miracles, while
some scholars recognize only one miracle, the Quran. Regarding classification,
miracles may be associated with the senses or insensitive nature. The paper at
hand will feature the concept of the miracles of Muhammad (PBUH). It will
discuss the nature and classification of miracles performed by Him. This paper
will explore the Qur'anic verses, Prophetic Quotations, and other Islamic
archives to present this prominent topic. This research will adopt qualitative and
comparative analysis.
