Causes And Effects of Social Degrade Action and Its Solution in the Teachings of Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)

Abstract

Social Degradation – the cause of many multifaceted factors weakens the moral, intellectual, economic and cultural structure of any society, resulting in the decline of both the individual and the community but with the help of teachings of the holy prophet (ﷺ) this menace can be wiped out. The research under review attempts to find the root causes of social degradation, its effects and their possible solutions from an Islamic perspective. During the research, it was revealed that factors such as distance from religious teachings, materialism, and moral decline, the negative role of the media, a gap in education and training, and the weakness of the family system are causing social degradation. All these factors affect the character, thinking and actions of the individual and push the entire society towards crime, misguidance, chaos and despair. However, Islam, and especially the life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), contains such comprehensive and sustainable principles that can save any society from decline.
