سود کے خاتمے کے لیے اسلامی مالیاتی نظام: سیرت النبی ﷺ کی روشنی میں
Abstract
In Islamic teachings, interest (usury) is regarded as a manifestation of human exploitation and economic imbalance, and its prohibition is explicitly established in the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ. This paper presents a thematic study, in the light of the Prophetic Seerah ﷺ, on the elimination of interest and the formulation of an alternative Islamic financial system. The aim of this research is to propose a model founded on Islamic economic principles that can serve as an effective substitute for the harmful consequences of the interest-based system. A qualitative research approach has been adopted, drawing upon the Prophetic Seerah ﷺ, Hadith, and classical juristic literature for guidance. The findings reveal that principles such as Mudarabah (profit-sharing), Musharakah (partnership), Ijarah (leasing), Zakah (obligatory alms), Sadaqah (voluntary charity), and Qard Hasan (benevolent loan) in light of the Prophetic Seerah ﷺ not only embody the practical implementation of the prohibition of interest but also provide the foundations for a transparent, just, and sustainable economy. The study concludes that the solution to contemporary financial crises lies in the model found within the Prophetic Seerah ﷺ, and that the Islamic financial system offers an effective and viable alternative.
